To begin using BayesFold, start your web browser program and direct it to the BayesFold web site at http://bayes.colorado.edu/Bayes.

From the left-hand navigation menu on this page, select "Fold an alignment". This manual is available on the web via the "Read the Help" option.

The main BayesFold page, as well as BayesFold's documentation and supplementary materials, is accessible through any browser. However, the BayesFold program itself can currently only be accessed using Internet Explorer 5 or later due to a lack of standards support in other current browsers. BayesFold will automatically alert you if you try to access the program using an unsupported browser.
