Once your alignment has been submitted, BayesFold calculates its structure predictions and returns the results. For small alignments, these results are often displayed immediately. However, larger alignments require more processing time; in these cases, a wait screen is displayed until the results are available:

This screen includes the name of the alignment that is currently being processed and the time at which its progress was last checked. A new check is made every thirty seconds; once results are available, the browser is automatically redirected to them.
On rare occasions, BayesFold may encounter an error while processing a submitted alignment. If this happens, an error screen is displayed:

Errors in processing may be related to the submission of an extraordinarily large alignment or one containing particularly lengthy sequences. You may be able to avoid the error by resubmitting a subset of the alignment for processing.
However, a processing error may also indicated a bug in BayesFold. If you encounter such an error, please click on the "email us" link on the error page to send information on the error to the BayesFold developers. If you have a default email program, this link will open a new message addressed to amanda.birmingham@colorado.edu and containing the error message that was generated during processing. If possible, include in this email the alignment and primer data for which the error was encountered. We will attempt to address all reports promptly.
