3. Handling Problems Viewing Saved Drawings

BayesFold offers two options for saving the structure drawing: "SVG for Illustrator" and "SVG for Browser". Using the wrong option for your desired use can cause strange results when viewing the saved structure drawings. If a drawing saved using the "SVG for Browser" option is opened in Adobe Illustrator 10, it will appear shrunken because Illustrator apparently misinterprets the centering and scaling information included in the SVG. This leads to images like that shown below:

To avoid this problem, save drawings you intend to modify in Adobe Illustrator using the "SVG for Illustrator" option.

Alternately, a drawing saved using the "SVG for Illustrator" option will not show up correctly when viewed in the browser, which requires the centering information that Illustrator misinterprets. If your saved structure drawing appears to run off the screen when viewed in a browser (as shown below), save it as "SVG for Browser" instead.
